PAROPKAR-THE PURPOSE OF LIFE

Human is the most beautiful creation of God but we don’t understand it and if we understand it; we can not realize it. Had we realized it we would have spread beauty every where. Beautiful flowers make a garden beautiful and please others but how much we please others or how much we are pleased is a question which nobody can answer honestly. The reason is his mind is full of anxieties and under despondency whether he will get the desired object or not and this despondency is permanent because as soon as he is in possession of the object he uses it for short a while (we call it BHOG) and tries to use(bhog) something new as the charm and beauty vanishes of that used object. Every day it happens and we make a mindset that this process (of BHOG) is called life.

Life however is a journey with a beautiful purpose and when your purpose is beautiful despite difficulties you look happy and beautiful. Like while organising a party at home you are busy and tired but still you welcome your guests with smile and treat them well. Now the question is – what is that beautiful purpose which pleases us throughout our life?

And the answer is परोपकार(PAROPKAR) means to help and bless others.

Hindu mythology considers it as one of the beautiful ways to attain the God. In Bhagawatgita it is called कर्मयोग(KARMYOG) परोपकाराय फलन्ति वृक्षा:,परोपकाराय वहन्ति नद्या:, परोपकाराय दुहन्ति गावा:, परोपकाराय वयं शरीरं।

Meaning:- trees are fruitful for others not for themselves, Rivers flow for others, Cows milk for others similarly our life should be for others.

One can feel the true pleasure and satisfaction after helping others.

The best part of PAROPKAR is the guarantee of permanent happiness.

So one should live with this true purpose of life as every one wants to be happy.
